IL Monte Galala Ain Sokhna is a terraced coastal resort climbing the slopes of the Galala Plateau above a 1.4 km sandy beach on the Red Sea.

The Meaning of the Name IL Monte Galala
The name blends an Italian word with an Egyptian one, “Il Monte” means “the mountain” in Italian, while “Galala” refers to the Galala Plateau that cradles the project, so the name literally reads “the Mountain of Galala”.
The Italian touch is reflected in the architecture itself, which draws inspiration from Portofino and its colorful buildings cascading down the hillside toward the sea.
